Clinical Nurse Manager

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for the nursing care of all patients. She is also responsible for the provision of chemotherapy, and the co-ordination and clinical management of the patients under the care of our Medical Oncologist.

Bronwyn has many years of experience in both medical and oncology/haematology nursing. After training at Christchurch Hospital, Bronwyn worked in the medical and haematology area and has over 25 years of experience working in the UK, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. She spent 13 years at the Waikato Regional Cancer Centre at Waikato Hospital, most recently as the Clinical Nurse Manager. She returned to Christchurch to assist the St George’s Cancer Care Centre to establish the chemotherapy service. Bronwyn holds post-graduate qualifications from the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and a post graduate diploma in Nursing (pal care) from Victoria University of Wellington.
